So Adafruit has this great FeatherWing with 4x8 NeoPixels if you just need to blink some lights, but what if you need to blink a strand or two? Ever so often I get asked to add lights to an installation and it’s too much hassle every time. Now I have a permanent solution and I’m sharing it for others to use.

It’s a very basic PCB with two level shifters and potmeters. You can control two individual strands of pixels using this shield, but I’ve added options to cut some traces so you can reconfgure the pins used by soldering a bit. Why the potmeter? Well, customers will always ask “Can you make it faster/slower/greener/whatever, so by adding this and telling them that they can adjust the effect using the potmeter, I’ll save some annoyance.
