Pinout for LC8805B-1515

I use this tiny 1,5x1,5mm RGB LED in many of my boards. Having a multi-color LED is super convenient for debugging. I use different colors for debugging, status and general feedback and since these are so tiny, I can always find space for them. They only use a pin and they’re 100% compatible with Adafruit NeoPixels / SK6812.

There is however one major drawback to these and that is the LC8805B-1515 datasheet. It shows the chip from both top and bottom, but completely without any definitive identifying features. It’s not that hard to find the GND pad though. It’s the large pad that the three LED segments connect to, but the below illustration will show this very clearly.
